This latest watercolour is a special place for me. It's Helmsley (North Yorkshire) where I was born. My Dad was vicar of the church. I don't remember it because I was only 3 yrs old when we (Mum, sister & 3 brothers) left for a parish deeper in the North Yorks. Moors - Danby. Perhaps I should do a watercolour of there next. It's a beautiful part of Yorkshire! 🙂
